Mission: The California Business Alliance’s mission is to facilitate West Coast recruitment across many industries and functional areas. We organize a trip to the San Francisco Bay area in the spring to visit companies of interest to current students. The trip (Trek) includes company visits and networking receptions with local McDonough School of Business, Foreign Service, Public Policy and Georgetown undergraduate alumni.
Numerous interviews, internships and full-time job offers have been obtained as a result of the visits. If you are interested in technology companies, start-ups, or simply the West Coast lifestyle, you should not miss this great opportunity!
Main Activities:
- Career Week—Scheduled during fall break between the first and second modules (usually the last week of October)
- Cal Trek – scheduled in the spring
